Hi, I am Mireille van Bremen!​

◉ I am a Dutch national with Asian roots and live in Slovenia for 15 years. I am a mother and co-parent of a teenage son who lives with me every other week.

◉ Besides being a creative centipede and highly sensitive (HSP), I love improvised cooking with my home grown veggies, I am a little adventurous, fond of travelling, mountain biking, music and spending time with friends.

MODULE 6

Content

Content is key and what you are going to say is your expertise. What you learn in this module is to organise it, TRANSLATE YOUR MESSAGE INTO LAYOUTS and a VISUAL STORY, adapt it to the presentation and make sure you never have to much text on your slide anymore. (I help you adapt it to the design – I am not teaching you copy-writing skills!)

The Facilitation Blueprint to PRESENT WITH CONFIDENCE with confidence and use the right communication strategies BUILD CONNECTION and INCREASE ENGAGEMENT with your audience.

MODULE 8

Design

7) Which SOFTWARE TOOLS do I need for taking this course?
To start all you need is a design software tool like PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides. Other tools will be discussed later, but know that though it is possible, it is not needed to purchase additional tools.

8) I don’t know if I need ‘Speak Visually’. Can you advice when it is helpful to include?
There are no minimum requirements regarding skills to participate in ‘Design Brilliant Digital Presentations’, but I know many people want to create their own visuals, draw their processes and map out their concepts.
The ‘Speak Visually Method’ is helpful when you:

b) you want revive your drawing skills

9) Will I learn to design in my own style? (Downloadable designs make my presentations look like those from others.)
Yes! You learn to make your own designs, layouts and edit your images to your style. I even show you how to integrate your own (hand-drawn) visuals, sketches and models, should you like to use them.

10) FOR WHOM is this course interesting?
This course is particularly interesting for trainers, consultants, facilitators, managers, leaders, coaches, teachers and professors, who present in webinars, meetings, workshops, conferences, trainings, training video’s, live streams, lectures, etc.

11) I have NEVER DESIGN SLIDES for a presentation, will I be able to follow the speed and content?
Yes! You don’t need any experience or design background to take this course.

12) Do I get SUPPORT and FEEDBACK on what I create?
Yes! There is possibility to ask questions and get feedback from me and fellow participants in every module of the course.

13) Can I find the content of this course also somewhere online for free?
There are many people teaching design and presentations skills so I am sure you can find other courses on the internet for free and paid ones. I recommend you think about if you like to invest your time and energy for a certain period of time and learn with a single trainer, or if you want to learn in bits and pieces from different people (and invest additional time to find what you are looking for – if you know what you need to learn to accelerate).

The particular approach I am teaching in my course, are based on the Preparation Blueprint, Facilitation Blueprint and Design Blueprint I developed myself.

14) Do I get HOMEWORK?
Every module contains lessons, practices and implementation assignments. From only watching the lessons you can learn something but it will not actualise your design skills. The practices and assignments are there to make sure you get different results. Should you choose not to do them, that means you also won’t see much differences in your slides and not increase the impact of your communication very much.

15) Cancellation and Refunds
If I cancel the program, your investment will be returned in full.

16) What is the spoken language in this program?
The workshop is held in English and so are the training materials.

17) Drawing… I have no talent. Is that a problem?
No issues at all. You don’t need any drawing skills to participate. If you like to develop them, then book the PLUS version, which includes my Speak Visually Method. This program is meant to help you learn basic drawing skills to get your message out of your head onto paper with markers.
